VMware has published a security advisory, highlighting a vulnerability in the following products listed on the 4th of January 2022. It is recommended that you take the necessary precaution by ensuring your products are always updated.
VMware ESXi version 6.5, 6.7 and 7.0
VMware Workstation version 16. x
VMware Fusion version 12. x
VMware Cloud Foundation version 3. x and 4. x
The Guyana National CIRT recommends that users and administrators review these updates and apply them where necessary.
